Oil India Limited (OIL) had advertised a vacancy for Junior Assistants in July 2021. The vacancy was released for the 120 posts of Junior Assistant (Clerk Cum Computer Operator – JAC12021). As the application process coming to an end, the applicants are keen to know the further process of the recruitment.
In the next phase, the OIL is going to conduct a written exam to decide the eligibility of the candidates for the selection. The test will be a Computer-Based Test and conducted at various exam centres in the state.OIL Exam Date: Oil India Limited will announce the CBT Exam date for the Junior Assistants in the upcoming days. It is expected that the exam will take place in October. The official notification for the same is to be released by the company soon.

As the applicants are aware, Oil India Limited will conduct the Computer-Based Test for the recruitment of Junior Assistants. The Admit Cards for the examination will be released online only and the Recruitment Board of OIL will not send the same by post. Hence, the candidates need to download the OIL Admit Card online and take a proper printout of the same.Candidates can download the admit card by providing the application’s login credentials, i.e application number and password. A direct link to access and download the admit card will be activated at least 10 days before the examination schedule. We will also add the same link for our readers as well.
Admit Card or Hall Ticket is a mandatory document for the examination and it carries all important information and instructions. The admit card will have the information regarding the examination centre, examination and reporting time, candidates’ details like Roll Number, Name and more.
A candidate must bring the online printed admit card to the examination hall as the examiner will check the same for verification. Along with the admit card, the examiner will also check the ID cards of the candidates. Thus, it is advised to bring a valid ID card while appearing for the examination as well. The candidates will be barred straight away upon failing to show an ID card and Admit card.

Oil India Junior Assistant CBT Examination Details
The Paper pattern and examination scheme for the CBT examination have already been added to the advertisement released by the OIL. We are just highlighting important ones here.
- The Computer Based Test (CBT) will comprise questions in the multiple-choice questions (MCQ) format.
- The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be bilingual i.e. English & Assamese.
- The total duration of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 02 (two) hours.
- The question paper will carry 100 MCQs.
