Q1. What is the expected Cut off Marks for Oil JA Examination 2021?
Records of cut off marks of 2020 are as follows:
a. General Category Students, cutoff marks was 79,
b. OBC Category Students, cut off marks was 77
c. SC/ST Category Students, cut off marks was 72.
So, it was almost over 70.
And this time also, it will be around 75 to 80 for general candidates. (Expected)
Q2. Will they go for Normalization Process? (Percentile or Accuracy system)
Generally, Normalization process is adopted when an exam is conducted in different shifts. This is because the difficulty level varies from shifts to shifts.
Now the question is who decides that difficulty level. Answer to this question is examination controller or committee. And, it is answered based on the highest marks of each shifts.
There are two ways of Normalization:
a. Percentile from Each Shift
b. Accuracy Level calculation using correct and incorrect answers.
Probability of getting selected decreases as the number of wrong answers increases.
As there was no negative marking in the examination, so accuracy level calculation will not help.
Q3. What is the expected date for the declaration of Result?
Ans: Almost after 3 to 4 months after the date of examination
Q4. After CBT Examination, will there be any other kind of examination?
Ans: As it was not mentioned in the advertisement, so there will be none kind of examination after the CBT.
However, examinations like medical treatment will be conducted.
Q5. Expected Date for ITI / PCM Examination?
Ans: Mid of Feb 2022.
